Day 7: Green Waves

I couldn't choose between the two so I am posting them both :) I was looking at the banana leaves in the garden and this was high in the sky partly hidden by other, browner fronds. I was wishing I could get closer when I remembered, hey, I have 15x optical zoom! I wanted to make the sky bluer for the shot on the right but since my skills in Photoshop is sorely lacking, I had to make do with a just a little cropping and increasing contrast.

Very cool and crayon-y colors! I like them both, but probably the top one. I think it looks better with a blown-out sky because that makes it look even more abstract.

I really like these. I would have had a hard time choosing too. I like to different greens and the way the edge ripples.

You grow bananas in your backyard? Cool. No wait, they don't grow in a cool climate.
Great greens and shapes!

Beautiful crayon-y shade of green! I like the angle of the first shot, but the rich green of the bottom shot also is a draw!

I like the first one. That wave and the line is awesome.

I like them both for different reasons. I think in the end the one with sky wins for me. Of course, as fickle minded as I am, I can always change my mind. ;)

Banana leaves in the garden is so exotic to me! Wonderful abstracts and shapes. I really like the one with the sky showing.

I love the top photo, it's just perfect! The first thing I pictured was a tiny little airplane flying into what could be a gigantic green, organic hanger.

Wow, those are both beaut. Love that backlighting. I have a bit of a thing of that going myself! Very well spotted and well shot! The curly effect is wonderful.
